About Abbey
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- a small yard for morning zoomies
- home more than away
Abbey would make a Royal companion! Opps, we mean a Loyal companion!
She is a gorgeous black greyhound with an amazing shiny coat, a perfect gentle, loyal soul. She’s a perfect walker, sticking calmly by your side, and enjoys daily strolls at a relaxed pace. While fairly sedate, she loves her morning zoomies to stretch her legs and start the day with a burst of fun.
Friendly and affectionate, Abbey is a total cuddle enthusiast. She’s so loving that she could smother anyone who steps into her home with hugs! She adores her humans, enjoys watching TV, and will happily curl up beside you, soaking in all the attention. Abbey has a special bond with other dogs too – she’s gentle, playful, and absolutely lovable with her greyhound foster companion and will even snuggle up to her.
This clever girl is a pro at car rides, hopping in unassisted and loving the wind in her face, often bobbing her tongue for extra attention. Abbey is calm, adaptable, and could thrive as either a solo dog or with a furry friend by her side.
Abbey would suit a family with children aged 8 years and over, as she’s not the most delicate of ladies, and would enjoy a home where she’s included as part of the family’s daily life. While she’s gentle and sedate, she is a velcro companion.
If you’re looking for a loving shadow with a soft heart, a sleek black coat, Midnight Black and shining and a loyalty that knows no bounds, Abbey is ready to lean into your life – and your heart.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
