About Cherry
Hello, my name is Cherry, and i really as sweet as a Cherry.
I am a 3 year and 11 month old Cavoodle (Cavalier King Charles x Poodle)
I weight 10.9kgs
I came into care as a retired breeding girl and ready to find my furever home and be with my people!
The rescue has made sure all my vet work is completed
I came into care a little nervous and unsure of people, but my foster mum has been working with me, and she says that if i can have a few days at my new home to settle that will help me gain my confidence and I can then show you, my love.
My foster mum says she is loving watching my personality come out each day as I gain my confidence and learn how to be a family dog.
I am currently hanging out with some other furkids and my foster mum says I would enjoy having a fur sibling to hang with - I'm still learning things like soft fluffy toys and unsure of chase but just enjoy having another dog as company.
My foster mum has said while I'm not a dog that is all over you, I do like to have a quiet lay next to you cuddle time.
I will melt your heart and show you how once comfortable I love nothing more than hanging with my humans or other furkids.
I am not confident yet with walking in public places (lots of crowds) but that is something that if my new family wanted to work with me that would be great, however I do walk well on the lead just in my quiet neighborhood. I do love a car ride especially in my booster seat looking out the window.
I don't have separation anxiety, and my foster mum currently works a few days a week from home and I'm good at home with another furkid to keep me company.
I can keep myself entertained by either snoozing on a dog bed / couch or human bed!
I am fine with kids
I have not been tested with cats
I will take myself out to the toilet if the door is open, and I know how to use a doggy door.
Whilst I am not motivated by treats I love my dinner and will happily clean the bowl for you.
I enjoy spending my time inside and being able to go outside to do lady business, sunbake, have a good sniff around etc.
I do have a coat that requires regular grooming so please make sure you remember that is a lifetime of grooming, but my foster mum says it's worth it as I look so cute when prettily groomed.

All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
