Meet Oscar, a gentle, thoughtful boy with soft black-and-white fur and an even softer heart. Oscar is shy at first, but once he learns you’re safe, he becomes the sweetest quiet companion.
He loves to sit nearby, offer little ankle head-boops, and occasionally surprise you by curling up on the bed and nudging you to lift the covers so he can snuggle underneath. It’s his special way of saying, “You’re my person now.”
Oscar enjoys calm humans, predictable routines, and having safe spots around the home where he can relax. He previously lived with another cat for many years and knows how to share space respectfully, but he is happiest when he has his own cosy zone to retreat to. A quiet home or a work-from-home human would suit him perfectly.
He adores watching the world through doors and windows, playing gentle games with yarn, exploring boxes, and lounging in sunny spots. Oscar eats well, loves both chicken and fish biscuits, and settles beautifully once he feels secure.
If you’re looking for a tender, loyal companion who will slowly bloom into a loving shadow at your side, Oscar is hoping his forever human finds him soon — maybe even in time for Christmas.
Oscar will not be considered for a home with a dog as they cause him a great deal of anxiety.
Adoption fee is $100, including full vet work through Redlynch Valley Vets.

The adoption form is completed at the meet and greet if the adoption goes ahead. Payment can be cash or a bank transfer to our bank account. More details can be supplied when you message the page.
Desexing, microchipping and the first two vaccinations are included in the adoption fee.
There is a 2 week trial time in which the kitten/cat can be returned and the adoption fee (including any donation required) is refunded. This time may be extended for some of our very shy kittens to allow more time for them to settle.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
