About Beau
Beau came into rescue after he followed a young family home one night. He wasn’t phased by the big group of kids, walking with them for a few blocks. He then stayed by the house for several hours trying to get in. Noticing how thin he was and how his matted fur was filled with prickly burrs, the family called for help (allergies meant they sadly couldn’t keep him for long!).
Despite his sick and skinny body, Beau was a bundle of love from the moment he was picked up by us for some extra care. Even when taking his meds, getting his fur brushed free of burrs or having his eyes wiped, he was happy simply being held and near people. Once he was better, Beau joined his foster family’s crew and has continued to love everyone he meets.
He gets along well with other cats, kids and dogs (he loved his foster family's doggo!)
His favourite sleeping spots are on the bed or perched on a window ledge. He doesn’t mind being picked up if it means some time to cuddle! Being a young cat, he has no problems making his own fun by finding pens or socks to carry around. He is such a fun snuggly boy!
Beau has completely recovered from his rough start to life and is healthy. He is desexed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment.
