Oak

Hi, I’m Oak—a laid-back, people-loving pup with a soft heart and a curious nose.

I take a little time to warm up to new dog friends, but once I do, I’m ready for zoomies and backyard rope-chewing sessions with the best of them. I haven’t met cats, chickens, or livestock yet, but I’m happy as an only pet if you give me plenty of love and fun things to do.

I spend my days outside and snooze inside in my crate at night, but mostly I just want to be near you. For a young pup I’m pretty chilled—I’ll happily sprawl at your feet while you work or relax. I’m learning my basic training (I’ve nearly nailed “sit”), I’m mostly toilet trained, and I let you know when I need to go. Lead walking is still a work in progress, and I can be a bit vocal if strange noises or people pass the yard.

I haven’t met kids yet, but I’m not jumpy and love people, so gentle children should be fine. I’ll need a secure fence to keep me safe as I grow. No health or behaviour worries here—just a sweet, easygoing companion ready for my forever family.
