Introducing Louie, a small-sized Bull Arab x Cattle Dog, with a loving and gentle soul, and a heart as big as they come. Since being rescued from a rural pound in February 2025, Louie has shown incredible resilience. He has bravely fought and won against both heartworm and cancer, proving himself to be a true warrior. Now, Louie is ready to embrace a bright future with a new family who will provide the love and warmth he so richly deserves.
Louis is the type of companion who will make you feel like the most special person in the world. Once he gets to know you, he reveals his affectionate nature, seeking closeness and loving interaction. Louie thrives on being part of daily life, and his favorite thing is simply being near his humans. Louie does remarkably well with transitions and is eager to join an environment where he can finally relax and cherish every moment with his family.

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
*Same gender adoptions will not be considered. Same sex aggression is something at Promising Paws we will avoid. *
