With a welcoming purr and a charming personality, Ayla will be sure to capture your attention as she greets you. Being held and patted are also welcomed by Ayla, with longer cuddle times the more she gets to know you and especially after playtime where she enjoys a moving toy she can catch and feel satisfied with the chase.
Playtime on her own can result in Ayla being mischievous by finding things to investigate, such as shelves, furniture and baskets - to name a few - then looking very cute when you find her. She'll also entertain herself and play with toys left about, but of course enjoys her human company the most.
While Ayla is gentle and playful, food can overly excite her. She can gobble, resulting in an upset stomach, but this is minimised by feeding small meals, patting her and talking in soothing tones while she eats, and feeding her, to help encourage her with digesting her food properly. She also has a treat dispenser to encourage her to eat biscuits slowly. These slight adjustments in eating habits will need to be supported in her new home.
Based on her personality, Ayla may be suitable for a small family and could adapt well to another pet, given slow introductions; however this has not yet been tested. Ayla's ideal home would be one where she's cherished and not left alone for long periods so she can enjoy bonding with her human family.
This girl is a gorgeous little treasure. Could she be your new family member?
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip - including the transfer of ownership - and sterilisation. Ayla can eat too quickly resulting in bringing her food back up. In her new home she will need to continue her feeding regime of multiple small meals. A gobble bowl is also suggested.
