This handsome gentleman is a gentle soul and has a big heart with a lot of love to give.

He's quite a large cat but he's a very polite gentle giant with an adorable little meow.

He was well loved by his previous owner but sadly they had a change in living situation and could not longer give Pesho the home he deserved so they reached out to us to find him a new home. He comes from a loving household and would make a perfect companion for a lucky someone.

As an older cat he is very quiet and low maintenance and prefers to live a peaceful life. He generally likes to keep to himself and you can often find him basking in the sun and spending long hours napping in one of his favorite spots.

Pesho does however have an affectionate side and he will come and find you when he's in the mood for some company. When he chooses to show you his affectionate side it feels extra special.

He enjoys a pat and a scratch, will rub up against your legs, likes to curl up beside you at night and will often rest on your legs while you sleep. He would make the perfect companion for someone that likes to kick back and watch their favourite TV shows with some company.

Oh and he can become very talkative when food is around.

Pesho is used to being an indoor / outdoor cat with the freedom to come and go as he pleases but he has also settled into his foster home really well and seems to be enjoying the cushy apartment living.

He is generally a very chilled out cat and not a lot fazes him. He has no problems being around other cats but is not a fan of kids, so a household with young children would not be ideal.

If you're a retiree looking for a companion to keep your legs warm at night or a home-body who's looking for some low maintenance company then Pesho is the cat for you.

Pesho is approximately 10 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
