About Amber - 4 Month Old Ridgeback X
Amber is a sweet and loveable girl who is ready to find her perfect family. Ambers personality is quiet, calm and cuddly! She is her happiest when she is soaking up cuddles with her humans 24/7.
Amber is a willing and trainable girl, she is very food orientated which assists with her training. Amber has learnt her name, established sit and is learning to wait patiently for her food. She is also developing her skills on laying down and coming to you when called however that shouldn’t be an issue as she will be your shadow everywhere you go. Amber has started the toilet training fundamentals and is a good learner.
Ambers perfect family is a loving and patient home to help with her ongoing training and development as she grows and matures. Amber sleeps in her crate overnight as long as she is near you, so enjoy skipping the toilet breaks overnight!
She will be best suited to a family with older kids and people who are wanting to include her in their world. Amber can be a timid pup so a fur sibling to play with and gain confidence from would be ideal, or a family who is home more often than not!
Her ideal yard will need to fully enclosed and with secure fencing to keep her safe.

Amber’s adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. She has been vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and is microchipped.
Amber is in foster care in Ashtonfield, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
