Gus

Gus is a handsome, chatty boy who absolutely adores people and attention. He came to Just Cats as a surrender due to his family moving overseas. After many years in a loving home, where he was spoiled with cuddles and affection, and he’s hoping to find a new family who will do the same. Like a true Burmese, Gus is very social and loves to “talk” to his humans. He’ll happily tell you when it’s time for bed, time for food, or simply time for more cuddles. He has plenty of quirky habits too, such as drinking water from the shower, curling up for morning cuddles with coffee, and snoozing wherever the nearest human (or sunny spot) can be found. Gus is also known for being a bit of a smoocher, he loves as many cuddles as you’re willing to give. He has lived happily alongside a dog before and would be fine in a home with another relaxed companion, as long as he gets plenty of attention but has not been around other cats so would like to be the only cat please. In his retirement years, Gus enjoys a slower pace of life: naps in the garden, cozy evenings by the heater, and lots of human company. He’s the perfect companion if you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate cat who will make every day brighter.
