About Rosie
💖 Rosie's Personality
Rosie is a gentle, happy-go-lucky 7-year-old Staffy X with a soft heart and an even softer spot for her camp chair bed. She’s playful, affectionate, and loves chasing toys in the yard with her best friend Elsa. Though she’s a sensitive soul who took a few days to settle in, Rosie now greets each day with joy and curiosity. She’s great on lead, responsive, and adores cats and other doggies. Her calm, sweet nature makes her a delight to be around.
🏡 Rosie's Ideal Forever Home
Rosie must be adopted with Elsa, her lifelong companion. These two are deeply bonded and would fret terribly without each other. Their ideal home is one filled with love, gentle routines, and space to play and relax. A family who values connection, understands the beauty of mature dogs, and is ready to embrace two besties as part of their heart and home would be perfect.
📖 Rosie's Rescue Story
Originally from Western Australia, Rosie and Elsa made the move to NSW some years ago with their loving owner. They’ve lived their entire lives together, and their bond is unbreakable. The girls were reluctantly surrendered when their owners' living situation changed. While the transition was tough—especially for Rosie, who took a few days to start eating—she’s now thriving in her new routine, enjoying yard time, walks, and cuddles.
🩺 Rosie's Medical History
Rosie has had TPLO surgery to repair the cruciate ligament in her left hind leg. Although she experienced some complications during recovery, she has fully healed and now runs, plays, and chases toys with Elsa like a pup again. She’s eating well, active, and loving life.
