About Magnolia
Hi, I’m Magnolia!
Young. Spunky. Dramatic. Slightly chaotic. 100% lovable.
I’m a little dachshund with a big personality. I pack a ton of zoomies, snuggles, opinions, and joy into my tiny sausage body.
My foster family say I have a “crackhead personality,” but I think that’s just code for “endlessly entertaining and slightly unhinged in the best way.” If you want a boring dog, keep scrolling. If you want a dog that will make you laugh every single day, I’m your girl.
I’m still young and I’ve got a lot of energy to burn. I love walks and I strut like I own the block. I thrive when I have fun things to do. Playing with toys? Absolutely. Running laps in the backyard? Sign me up. Getting the zoomies for no reason? Daily. Once I’ve gotten my sillies out, I’m all about the cuddles. I burrow under blankets, snuggle up like a tiny heater, and will make you feel like the most loved human on earth.
One thing you should know is that I need another dog in the home not just want I truly need it. I’m happiest with a buddy to wrestle with, nap next to, and learn from. I feel safest when I’m part of a little pack. I do best with friendly, playful pups who aren’t overwhelmed by my spicy energy. Big or small, I love them all.
As for people, I adore them. I’m the kind of dog who wants to be involved in everything. Whether you're watching TV, folding laundry, or going for a drive, I’m your tiny shadow. I’m very social and bond quickly, and as much as I’d love a family that’s around more often than not as long as I have another companion I’m fine to be alone during the day.
I’d make the perfect addition to an already established family, kids are the best thing EVER! I can be a little jumpy still but that’s just my personality everything excites me but I promise I’m learning.
Now about cats. I’ve never met one. I don’t know what they are. I might think they’re weird dogs or fancy toys who knows. My foster family hasn’t tested me yet, so we can’t say for sure how I’d react. Slow introductions would be important if there’s a feline in your world.
I’m still learning all the ins and outs of home life, but I’m a quick learner especially when treats are involved. I’d thrive with a family that can give me structure, consistency, and a whole lot of love. Snacks are also very important.
I’m young, ridiculous in the best way, full of love, and looking for a home where I can be my whole, silly self. If you’ve got another playful dog, a sense of humor, and space in your heart and bed, we’re probably meant to be.
With love and wiggles,
Magnolia
