Indi is a truly special cat – affectionate, loyal, and quietly beautiful. She has a soft, timid nature, and while it may take her a few days to a week to feel comfortable in a new environment, the reward for your patience is beyond worth it. Once Indi learns she is safe, she’ll blossom into the sweetest companion who loves nothing more than following her humans around, curling up nearby, and offering gentle kisses. She’s also quite the chatterbox and will happily hold little conversations with you.

💜 Settling In
Because Indi can be easily overwhelmed, she will need to begin her new life in a safe enclosed space such as a bedroom. This allows her the time and security to build trust and confidence with her new family at her own pace. With reassurance, love, and calm energy, Indi will begin to explore more of her home, slowly but surely claiming her place in your heart.

Indi’s past has shaped the cat she is today. She once shared a close bond with her sister and their dad, but sadly, her sister began relentlessly attacking her out of jealousy, leaving Indi traumatised and unsure of her place in the world. Because of this experience, Indi is searching for a home that understands her gentle soul and can give her the peace she so deeply deserves.

✨ What Indi Needs in a Home
• A calm, proven cat-friendly companion: Indi would benefit from the company of another cat, but only if they are gentle, calm, and non-dominant. She cannot cope with pushy or aggressive cats, but a kind feline friend could help her feel safe and confident again.
• No dogs, or only the right dog: Indi is not suited to busy households with boisterous dogs. The only possible exception may be an older, very calm, small dog that is genuinely cat-friendly.
• No young children: Indi’s shy nature means she is not suited to young kids. She would be happiest in a home with children aged 12+ who understand how to respect her space. A quiet teen gamer who’d love a lap cat to keep them company would be her dream match.
• A quiet, stable home: Indi will thrive in a peaceful environment where her world doesn’t constantly change. She’d especially love someone who works from home, so she can always have her human close by.
