About Max
Hi everyone! I’m Max a black and white 1-year-old border collie x kelpie. I am a very sweet and energetic boy. I absolutely love people, and I’m pretty laid back for a working dog. I get along very well with other dogs and believe that everybody is my friend.
I am a very well-behaved boy, I know all my basic commands (sit, stay, drop) and I have excellent recall. I am still establishing some boundaries when I get excited so will need a home that will continue training! I learn things very quickly, I am easy to have around and I travel very well. I love pretty much any toy, tug toys, balls, chew toys, you name it!
My ideal new home would be anybody who is active and willing to spend time with me because I love my humans. I would suit a family with kids of any age or no kids. I would love a four-legged sibling but would also be totally fine as an only child. I have met chickens and horses and have no issues with them so my foster mum believes that I will be fine with other small animals too.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
