About Xena
Meet Xena - The Warrior of Calm
Despite being named after one of the greatest mythical female warriors, our Xena is anything but a fighter-unless it's for the comfiest spot in the house to curl up and catch some z's! In fact, he isn't even a female, with our Xena being male.
This boy is out to break all the stereotypes.
This handsome Tabby Domestic Short Hair may seem simple in looks and needs, but that makes him all the more special.
Xena is the ultimate low-maintenance roommate-quiet, chilled, and ready to bring a sense of calm to your home.
He's seeking a peaceful environment with humans who appreciate a relaxed and unintrusive companion.
In exchange for FREE rent, Xena promises:
-Love and affection Expert dust-bunny patrol under couches
-Quality control of windowsills, shelves, and any cozy nook that might double as a secret hideaway
-To keep the house free and safe of pesky dust bunnies that me be looking to invade and make the underside of your furniture their home.
A calm, loving space where he can truly unwind, with no children and other cats preferred.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
