About Cricket - 9 Week Old Cattle Dog X
Meet Cricket
Cricket is a shy and reserved boy at first but when he comes out of his shell - he's a fun loving, lively boy who will give you endless laughs and kisses. He loves to chew on his rope toys, chase after bugs in the garden and keeps himself happily entertained with other toys. But most of all, he loves a good cuddle with his people!
Cricket has been raised in a home with a few other critters, including adult dogs, one of his siblings and a few affectionate cats. He will grow into a medium to large sized dog and is best suited to a family ready for both playtime and training. Puppy school and ongoing socialisation will be key to setting him up for success!
Cricket's Ideal Home:
🐾 Playful, active family who enjoys fun and games
🐾 Must be an indoor family member, especially overnight (crate trained)
🐾 Secure, puppy-proof yard with no small gaps
🐾 A family committed to ongoing training, socialisation, and puppy school
🐾 Would benefit from a gentle doggy companion
🐾 Someone home often if no other dog is present
🐾 Would love a home with toys, playtime, and plenty of love
Cricket's adoption fee is $800, which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also covers his first two vaccinations, microchipping, and flea and worm treatment.
He is in foster care in Central Coast, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months old.
