Meet Alec 🩵

When Alec came into our care he was initially a timid, untrusting little cat, who we couldn’t get near for the first couple of months that he was in our care. 💔

Fast forward to now and with lots of patience and a gentle approach, Alec has really turned a corner and is starting to realise that humans aren’t all out to hurt him and that in fact, they are really good at chin scratches and providing food, which is the way to Alec’s heart.🩵

Alec now approaches his foster carer for pats…and food…..of course! He loves to roll over on his back and play with toys or his foster carers hand. He is currently getting used to being briefly picked up and popped into his foster carers lap. He has so much love to give and so much potential, but requires a very special human to continue to show patience and work with him. ❤️‍🩹

Alec will be timid to start off with in his new family, therefore we wouldn’t recommend a meet and greet with him. We are instead offering a 6 week trial, so that he has time to relax and come out of his shell. We want his new family to see his true, loving side, but that will take a little bit of time to shine through.💛

We are also looking for a home for Alec that has another confident cat, as Alec adores the company of other cats and loves to follow their lead. A busy household with young children would unfortunately not suit Alec’s needs.
