Say hello to Mushie!

Mushie’s journey began alongside her sister Toastie, handed over in a plastic shopping bag, both pregnant. Since then, she has blossomed in foster care, growing into a gentle, loving, and playful young mum.

Mushie can be a little shy when meeting new people, and she doesn’t enjoy being picked up but with patience and kindness, she’s sure to come out of her shell. She has the cutest, softest, quietest meow in the world and isn’t shy about letting you know when she’s hungry! Mushie loves attention and affection, and she especially adores chin and head scratches (bonus points if you do both at once!).

She’s a calm, amazing companion with other cats and dogs, though she can be easily startled, so a home with little children isn’t ideal. Mushie loves playing with her kittens and her sister Toastie, but she also enjoys her own quiet time which includes bathing herself and taking long, peaceful naps. She has a playful streak too, and chasing toys around the room is one of her favourite pastimes.

*** As a Persian mix, Mushie may require regular grooming and ongoing attention to her coat. She was handed over with severe matting, so coat care will be a priority in her future forever home. Mushie will also require awareness of potential breed-related health needs, and her new family should be prepared to provide her with the extra care she deserves.

We prefer Mushie adopted into a home with her sister Toast.
