About Molly
Adorable molly-pup is looking for a loving forever home after a rotten start to life which, through no fault of her own, saw her dumped and then under threat of a bullet, so sarg had to step in and give this lovely big pup a chance at a better life, will it be with you???
molly has settled in well into foster care on a 5000 acre farm with lots of good smells and other critters to keep her entertained including her carers own dogs of all shapes and sizes which molly is having a ball with; and cats, chooks, ducks, horses and sheep don’t bother her either! despite her rocky start to life molly adores humans and is even good with children though we don’t reckon she should be rehoused with really little ones as she may bowl them over in her exuberant play! this intelligent pup has picked up toilet-training by copying the household’s other dogs and enjoys playing outside during the day and sleeping inside with “no accidents” during the night. Molly can “sit” for treats and is learning the “down” and "stay" commands as well as how to walk on a lead as she doesn’t appear to have had much practice with this; she also travels brilliantly in the car. As she’s only a young pup molly will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners!
there has been some debate over which large breeds make up molly; our vets have gone with “mastiff x” for her microchip though they can also see bull arab in her face as well as malamute in her beautifully smoky markings and the shape of her paws - whatever she is it is a perfectly balanced blend! molly will be on the large side once she finishes growing (perhaps about the size of a labrador? hard to say really!). We certainly know that her tail never stops wagging!
molly would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep adorable miss molly stimulated are also a necessity so she doesn’t get bored and up to mischief.
