About Clooney (66894)
Meet Clooney. This handsome devil would make his namesake proud - all charm and charisma with a dash of mystery. At just one year old, this 23kg Kelpie x Border Collie mix came to us as a stray. Despite our best efforts, we weren't able to locate his original owners, so Clooney's history remains a mystery. What we do know is that he's smart, sensitive, and full of potential in the right hands. Clooney is still learning how to navigate the world. He's nervous when meeting new people, and his fear can show itself in big ways. He'll need a person who understands that trust takes time and that the best relationships are built slowly. With patience, consistency, and gentle guidance, Clooney will begin to feel safe - and that's when his affectionate, teachable side really shines through. Because of his sensitivities, we're looking for a home without young children. Older kids - 13 and up - who are experienced with dogs and respectful of boundaries could be a great fit. Clooney appears to have a strong working drive, so he'll thrive in a home that understands the needs of high-energy, intelligent breeds. Mental stimulation, training, and enrichment will help him channel his energy in a positive way. We're not sure if Clooney has ever lived inside a home before, so he may need support learning things like toilet training and household routines. He's a quick learner, and with clear boundaries and kindness, we know he'll adapt. He would do best in a cat-free home, but a well-matched, confident dog companion could help bring out the best in him. Clooney is looking for someone who can offer structure and understanding - someone with breed experience, or a willingness to learn, who can help him build confidence and trust. In return, he'll be a loyal, loving companion with so much to give. If you think Clooney might be your perfect match, please apply online today. He's ready to start his next chapter - all he needs is you.
