About Troy
Meet Troy!
Tough name, tough start - but underneath it all, Troy is just a big softie waiting for his chance to shine. This handsome long-haired gent came to us as a stray tom, his coat full of matts after what seemed like a life on the streets. Luckily, during his desex operation he also enjoyed a much-needed spa day, leaving him with a sleek new haircut. Right now he's rocking the look of a long, skinny noodle with big fluffy boots and a cravat worthy of Matt Preston himself.
Troy is a little timid by nature, but don't be fooled - once he realises you're a fan of his fabulousness, he'll happily emerge from his cat bed to soak up every pat you can offer. There's nothing quite like watching a tough street cat melt into a spoiled little prince in your arms.
Troy will need an indoor-only home, especially while his fur grows back, and a cosy spot with good heating until the warmer months return. Long-haired cats don't need constant grooming, but he will need an owner committed to a good weekly brush to keep his coat smooth and mat-free. No more full-body haircuts for this lad - just the luxurious locks he was born to flaunt.
If you've got space in your heart and home for a cat who's as much runway model as street survivor, Troy is ready to bring his fabulous cravat and tender soul into your life.
