About Magic Pig
š¾ Meet Magic Pig - A Gentle Lassie in the Making š¾
Breed: Medium Crossbreed
Sex: Female
Colour: Tan & White
Magic Pig is a sweet and sensitive soul with a heart full of loyalty and quiet magic. Inspired by the legendary Lassie, she carries the same cleverness and devotion - but she's still learning to trust the world around her. With time, patience, and love, she'll blossom into the kind of dog who might just save Timmy from down the well.
This tan and white wonder girl is looking for a foster-to-adopt home in the Bendigo area - someone who understands that building trust takes time, and that the best relationships are the ones that grow slowly and beautifully.
Her Magic Traits:
Loyal - once she bonds with you, she'll be your steadfast companion.
Intelligent - she's observant and thoughtful, and will thrive with gentle guidance.
Sensitive - she needs a calm, reassuring environment to feel safe.
Social - she enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a canine friend.
Her Ideal Home:
Located in Bendigo (foster-to-adopt only).
A quiet, inclusive household with older teenage children who respect her space.
Another friendly dog would be a great confidence booster.
A patient person or family who will let her set the pace.
Magic Pig is not the kind of dog who rushes into the spotlight - but give her time, and she'll show you just how magical she really is. She's ready to start her journey with someone who sees her potential and is willing to walk beside her as she grows.
Could you be the one to help Magic Pig find her courage and her forever home?

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
