Gabbro is a bright, energetic Australian Cattle Dog mix pup with a zest for life and a brain that’s always switched on. He is bold, curious, alert, and always eager to learn. He’s already nailed the basics — sit, drop, spin, and shake — and has excellent recall. At night, he sleeps soundly in his crate and is progressing well with toilet training.

ACDs are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and strong work ethic — and Gabbro is no exception. He is never far from your side and will thrive in a home that enjoys training, provides structure, and embraces daily adventures. A playful, tolerant dog could be a great match for him — offering both a fun outlet for his energy and a steady role model as he continues to grow and learn.

Like most young ACDs, Gabbro is mouthy and will nip during play or when excited. While this behaviour is typical of the breed, it does mean he is not a good match for homes with young children, or for adopters who aren’t experienced with the breed.
