Heidi

Meet Heidi, a beautiful 3-year-old Maremma Sheepdog with a gentle heart and a lot of love to give. She's incredibly sweet and affectionate once she bonds with you - and when she does, she'll absolutely adore you. But like many Maremmas, she's naturally cautious and takes her time getting comfortable with new people and places.

She is a timid girl, and things like loud noises, new environments, or unfamiliar faces can make her a bit nervous. She's looking for a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe, take her time to settle in, and build trust at her own pace.

She'd prefer to be the only dog, but may be okay with a calm, independent dog who respects her space. No young kids, please - the hustle and bustle is just too much for her sensitive soul.

Heidi would do best with someone who has experience with Maremmas or understands the breed's independent but loyal nature. She's not demanding - just looking for someone patient, kind, and ready to let her blossom in her own time.
