About Faith
Shaggy coat | Blue Dog markings | Short legs | Very sweet nature
We love our blue dogs here at ARK and we love our Wolfies, too. Mix the two together, add a dollop of Terrier, and you have one very special dog.
Please meet FAITH, a friendly and affectionate Blue Heeler x Wolfie x Terrier, who's looking for a safe and loving home to call her own.
Faith has a vet-estimated date of birth of 1 September 2023 and weighs 20 kgs. Physically, she has the body shape and colouring of a Blue Heeler, the coarse and shaggy coat of a Wolfie, and the shorter legs of a Terrier. (We were told by people "in the know" that the terrier genes come from a Parson Russell Terrier.)
Faith is currently living happily in a foster home with school-age children, other dogs and a couple of cats.
Given her breed mix, it's no surprise she's clever, affectionate, loyal and reasonably energetic.
This is what her foster mum has to say about her:
"Faith reminds me of an old soul, good with everything, very outgoing, beautiful manners, very affectionate and happy just to laze around the house sunbaking. She's fine on leash, doesn't jump and isn't a barker. She's also house-trained. She's a super young dog."
Faith will do best in a home where she is regarded as an integral member of the family with indoor privileges. She's definitely not suited to a solitary life in the backyard and would especially enjoy having her family around most of the time and/or a compatible canine pal to keep her company.
