About Alvin
Alvin our sweetest little, long-bodied soul. At first, he can be quiet and a bit timid, but once he feels safe and learns to trust you, he blossoms into the most affectionate companion. He loves nothing more than curling up for cuddles, whether it’s snuggling with his dog friends or sneaking onto the lounge to be close to his humans.
Training is still a work in progress. Alvin hasn’t had a lot of lead experience yet as his confidence is still being built, and toilet training is proving to be a bit of a challenge. With patience, consistency, and positive encouragement, he will get there. For now, he simply needs a family who understands that he’s still learning and will support him along the way.
This little guy absolutely adores other dogs and really shines in their company. He would not be suited to being an only dog and needs at least one canine companion in his new home to help him feel safe and secure. He also lights up around children, often getting very excited and showering them with kisses, so a family with older, respectful kids would be perfect. He is a little wary of strangers at first but comes around with gentle introductions. He hasn’t been tested with cats.
Some of Alvin’s favourite things include cuddles, naps, and tasty treats. He’s not overly interested in toys just yet but may explore that more in time. He travels well in the car, happily settling in the backseat, and while he can be nervous out and about—especially around loud noises or sudden movements—he is making small steps forward in building his confidence.
Alvin needs a family that will include him in everyday life, be patient with his fears, and stay committed to his training so that he can grow into the best version of himself. With love, time, and reassurance, he will repay his people with endless affection, loyalty, and snuggles.
Medical notes
Alvin has alopecia which is genetically derived due to his unusual colouring. This means he has some minor hair loss in areas and some dry skin. There is nothing medical he needs for this but he would benefit from a good quality fresh food diet that is rich in fatty acids and omegas. He would benefit from going on a natural supplement like Antinol (highly recommended) and/or some type of fish oil to nourise his skin.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
