The sweetest girl is ready for adoption, Rosie 🐾
If her name wasn’t Rosie, it would be Honey, because she is truly the sweetest girl.
Rosie is a loving, affectionate girl who just wants to be by your side. She adores people, loves other dogs (too much), and has the gentlest, sweetest nature. She’s still a puppy at heart, playful, cheeky and full of personality.
Rosie has had a tough start in life and is looking for a kind, patient family who will continue helping her blossom. We found Rosie in a pound with a broken leg, we believe she may have fallen from the back of a Ute. She had surgery almost a year ago and they fused her front leg. This means she can sometimes become sore or sensitive after too much activity, so her exercise is best kept to shorter, supervised sessions. Since her toe amputation, she also wears a little doggy boot on walks to protect her paw, which has worked wonderfully for her.
She would thrive in a calm, loving home where someone is home more often than not, as she loves companionship and settles best with people nearby. A grassy yard would suit her perfectly, and a gentle, friendly dog companion would be a huge bonus as Rosie absolutely loves other dogs but relies on her humans to advocate for her in social settings.
Rosie is crate trained, knows her basic commands, loves social walks, and is happiest simply being included in day-to-day life. Like many sensitive dogs, she may take a couple of weeks to fully settle into a new home, but once she does, her beautiful personality shines through.
Because Rosie can be mouthy and playful with her puppy-style nipping, she would be best suited to a home with older children.
Despite everything she’s been through, Rosie remains incredibly loving, easy-going and full of joy. She truly is something special and will make the most beautiful companion for a patient, understanding family willing to give her the love she deserves.
Medical notes
Rosie came into care from a pound with a broken front leg which is suspected to be from falling from the back of a ute. She has had surgery to fix this and has recovered well. All vet notes from this can be provided to the adopter.

~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits, can you guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be required.
~Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties. A rates notice is required for homeowners.
~A vet reference may be required.
