About Lenny & Stormy
Meet Lenny & Stormy (DOB 15/08/24), our bonded mum and son ❤️
Some cats are instant lap warmers, happy to sit on anybody's lap with no bonding required. Others like to take their time, and some patience, and truly connect with their humans before blossoming. Lenny and Stormy fall into the second group. They wouldn’t do well at a busy adoption day in a pet store, but once they trust you, you’ll discover the sweetest little duo who simply needed the right home to shine. Lucky for them (and you), they’re with us, and we’re writing on their behalf ❤️
Stormy (the black queen) is the mum of the pair. Due to her past on the streets, she is the more reserved of the two, preferring to quietly observe until she feels safe. With time and kindness, she does enjoy pats and especially loves a good scratch behind the ears. Almost like it’s her way of saying, “I’m ready to trust you now.”
Lenny (grey) is her son, and while he warms up faster, at heart he’s a mummy’s boy, and a very sweet one. Chances are, you’ll first find them tucked away together in their favourite hiding spot. Lenny enjoys playtime more than cuddles (at least at this age). Dangle a toy mouse or wand in front of him, and you’ll quickly see his curious, cheeky side.
Stormy and Lenny would do best in a calm, settled home without too much noise and a nice daily routine. They’d be wonderful companions for someone who is out a lot, as they are perfectly content in each other’s company, or for someone who is home often and simply wants the comfort of knowing there are other friendly little souls sharing the space. They’re not suited to busy households, but in a patient, understanding environment, they’ll make the patience worthwhile, when you watch two cats slowly relax, trust, and learn to love.
If you’re the kind of person who finds happiness in giving shy souls a safe space to bloom, and you’re ready to adopt two best friends, Lenny and Stormy could be the perfect pair for you.
We believe there’s a right fit for every adopter, and if Stormy and Lenny are your cup of tea, we’d love to hear from you.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (A 25% admin fee will apply)
