Meet Kayden!
Are you looking to adopt a young cat with a heart capable of holding more love than those who hurt him? A boy who will happily curl up in your lap, purr his heart out while you give him chin rubs, and trot over the moment he hears the rattle of food?
Kayden might just be your boy.
Kayden is a lovely, affectionate young boy who has amazed us with his resilience. He was found injured and unmoving in a park, unable to get up. Rushed into emergency care by a regular feeder, X-rays revealed a fractured pelvis and hip. While vets initially thought he might have been hit by a car, the pattern of his injuries suggested something different - he had been kicked by a heavy boot. 😿
After his Pelvis had healed, Kayden underwent surgery to have the femoral head removed due to the fracture in his hip. This has had no impact on his movement and will not require any follow up care
Through it all, Kayden has wholeheartedly put all his trust and love in the humans who have cared for him.
Since coming into care in November 2024, Kayden has turned out to be friendly, trusting, and impossibly sweet. He’s a big foodie (you’ll never eat a snack alone again), he adores attention, and while he may sometimes play energetically, even a little rough with his cat friends, it’s always in the spirit of fun. He’s been fostered in a busy household and shown that he is great with other cats, cat-friendly dogs, and respectful children. This would make him a wonderful fit for a loving family home.
Kayden is now fully recovered and ready to begin the life he has always deserved, safe from cruelty in a loving home.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (A 25% admin fee will apply)
