About Cutie
Meet Cutie - Bendigo's Blue Rinse Beauty
Age: 10 years (almost 11!)
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Cutie arrived at BARC as a stray, this super sweet senior girl is the epitome of her name. With a gentle nature and a heart full of love, Cutie is ready to trade the streets for a sunny windowsill and a forever family.
She's not looking to retire just yet-she's simply seeking a quieter scene. Florida might be the dream for some, but for Cutie, Bendigo is her Blue Rinse Mecca. She's got her eye on a home where she can enjoy the finer things:
A warm spot in the sun ☀️
A 4pm dinner 🍽️
A game of cards 🃏
And drifting off in a rocking chair before Home and Away starts 📺
Cutie would thrive in a home with older kids, maybe a fellow feline companion, but definitely no fun-loving dogs to flip the bridge table or spoil the mood. She's all about serenity, snuggles, and senior sass.
As a senior cat adopted from BARC, Cutie comes with a free return vet check within 6 months of adoption-just to make sure she's settling in beautifully.
If you think this lovely girl may be the perfect fit for you, please reach out to BARC on 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
