Meet the big and handsome Apollo ! <3

This big hunk-a-spunk was found wandering the streets of Altona North, Victoria. Apollo has spent the first couple of years of his short life without much food or a safe place to call his own. He is now on the lookout for a special person who is willing to open their heart and home to a cute dude like Apollo.

Apollo is named after the Greek god of the same name. This is because of his love of light, music, poetry, healing, prophecy, and archery. hehe

Apollo's future adopters will need to understand that he is a kitty who takes pride in himself. He has medium-length hair and will need regular brushings and even the odd visit to a groomer if you can spare the cash. Apollo is desperate for (and very deserving of) a loving home that will be able to accommodate him and his FIV+ status. This means he will have to be the only cat in the household, or live with other FIV+ cats. Other than that, he is still full of life and love.

Apollo is a very affectionate and loving companion. He loves to work the room here at the shelter, making sure no one gets past him without giving him a good scratch. He also appreciates compliments on his jumper, so if you see him wearing it, please say something.

Unfortunately, Apollo has learned to work the room so well because he has been here for so long! This guy needs a new loving home ASAP!
