Meet Meadow,
Meadow is the kind of cat who makes herself right at home wherever she goes! Suitable for both first-time owners and those with plenty of cat experience, this sweet girl is adaptable and ready to fit into just about any household environment.
Gentle, friendly, and outgoing, Meadow has a big personality and isn’t shy about making sure she’s noticed - she’ll even paw at the glass of her condo to grab your attention. She loves being social, is curious about everything around her, and always ready for a little playtime.
This affectionate girl craves pats, chin and ear scratches, and especially those oh-so-good booty scratches. While she’s not the biggest fan of being carried, she’ll happily tolerate it - and once you put her down, she’ll be back asking for cuddles on her own terms.
Meadow is also open to meeting kids of all ages, making her a wonderful fit for families. With her sweet nature and loving personality, she’s ready to brighten up the days of whoever is lucky enough to take her home.
As we cannot test in this environment, we are unsure how Meadow would go living with dogs. This would be up to the discretion of her new owners.
As for cats, Meadow seems interested in making friends. We encourage anyone with existing cats to do a gradual and supervised introduction over a few days to ensure that both cats have the best chance of becoming friends.
We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Meadow has already experienced living on the streets and she enjoys being inside where she feels safe. If she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat she can live her best life possible.
Meadow has low to mid-range energy levels and is a little coy when a toy is introduced to her - but give it a moment or two and her playful side will truly shine. She likes ball toys and anything that's dangly and fluttery.
Meadow is not fussy with her food and she won't say no to a treat or two either. Food is the way to her heart as it makes her very happy!
Staff Comments: Meadow is a super affectionate cat. She is a loving cat who will demand ALL of your attention - she won't ever say no to praise, pats or scratches.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
