About Penny
Meet Penny, the charming Corgi with a heart of gold. Her endearing personality and delightful demeanor make her a perfect candidate for anyone seeking a calm and affectionate canine companion. Penny loves nothing more than to be around people and has a gentle soul that shines through in her interactions.
Though she’s a bit skinny at the moment, Penny’s appetite for exploration and companionship is as healthy as ever. She knows she needs some extra groceries to get her fuller figure back, but with her love of grooming and precious coat, you'll have a dog worth petting. Penny has a calm demeanor and a slightly shy nature that turns endearing once you lean in for kisses.
Walking with Penny is an absolute pleasure; she moves gracefully on a leash and takes in the world at her own serene pace. She has been friendly with other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to households that already have a furry family member. Her experiences at the shelter show she's been good with cats too.
Her gentle nature makes her a sweetheart with kids—especially those over the age of five who can understand gentle play.
If you're looking for a delightful, low-key companion who will fill your days with love, Penny is ready to be your next best friend. Whether it's tender moments of grooming or enjoying leisurely walks, Penny is eager to share her life with a family she can call her own.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
