About Lucy
Meet Lucy, a sweet and playful canine with a heart full of love and an inspiring zest for life. Despite being almost blind since birth, Lucy navigates the world with impressive grace and thriving confidence. Her friendly nature is evident in her interactions with small dogs, with whom she loves to play.
Cuddling ranks high on Lucy's list of favorite activities. This gentle companion thrives on affection and will reward a loving touch with endless gratitude and loyalty. Though her vision is limited, Lucy sees the world with her heart, forming strong, loving bonds with the people she trusts.
Lucy is in search of an understanding and patient new family willing to support her as she continues to adapt and thrive in her environment. While it's uncertain how she feels about cats, with proper, gradual introductions, Lucy can adjust well, as she has done with other furry friends. Her ideal home would be one filled with love, patience, and perhaps a little doggy friend to share her days with. We are not sure if Lucy is toilet trained yet.
For those seeking a dog who exemplifies resilience and joy, Lucy offers a unique opportunity. Opening your heart to her means not only providing a forever friend with the love and understanding she deserves but also experiencing the incredible bond that transcends any limitations.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
