Boof is a lively, energetic, and excitable young dog looking for an active family who can give him the time, attention, and stimulation he needs to thrive. He has a busy mind and will benefit greatly from consistent enrichment and positive reinforcement training-especially since he's incredibly food motivated.

He is a sweet, affectionate boy ready to bring a lot of love (and a bit of fun chaos) to the right home. Boof already knows how to sit, lie down, and catch treats, and while he understands "stay," he's still working on his execution.

He bonds quickly and loves human company, so he'll need a home where someone is around more often than not, as he's not suited to being left alone for long hours. He has displayed some anxiety when left by himself, so a gradual introduction to solo time is essential.
A secure home and yard are a must, and he'll need both indoor and outdoor time with his people.

Boof is best suited to a single-dog household-while he is non-reactive on walks and can be around other dogs at a distance, he prefers his own space. He would also best suit a home with older children, who are comfortable with excitable dogs!

His new family should be ready for some snorts, grunts, and likely some snoring, too-his joyful personality comes with plenty of quirky sounds!
