About Bella
Meet Bella! She is a beautiful young purebred short haired black German Shepherd. 🥰
She is a spritely and energetic girl, who loves the company of people, both male and female and other dogs, 🐶 and would thrive in a family dynamic and/or people with an active lifestyle 🏃♂️ or with other animals. 👍
She has had interactions with cats 🐱 and chickens 🐔 on a couple of occasions, and her behaviour has been curious and gentle.
She gets along great with kids. 👨👩👧👧
Bella is an active dog, who is looking for a busy household/property where she can be kept occupied. 🏡
Her temperament is pleasant and happy. She loves playing outside and walks on the beach and loves swimming. 🏊♂️ She also loves a snuggle on the lounge 🧸 at night and sleeps on her bed inside the house. 🌛 She also travels well in the car. 🚘
Her favourite toy is the Frisby. 🥏
She is toilet trained 🚽 and obedience trained 🎓 and walks well on the lead. 🦮 She was involved in a regular dog walking group when she was young and really enjoyed walking with the group. 🦮
Bella sits and waits for her command to eat her breakfast and dinner. 🍗 She cannot tolerate any red meat and eats a mixed diet of poultry 🍗 and fish 🐟 raw food and high protein kibble.
Bella is not a barker, she is a quiet dog. 🤫
Her hips are good with no sign of dysplasia. 🩺
She is ok going to the vet, if need be, and being groomed, however does not like her nails being cut. 💅
She needs a home where he can live and sleep inside with his family but have access to a secured well fenced yard. 🏡

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
