✨ Profile and needs in a home ✨
Hello! My name is Justin. My journey hasn’t been easy, I came from a home with multiple dogs with no exposure to the outside world, so the outside world is still a little new to me. But with patience, kindness, and routine, I’m learning fast and blossoming into the most loving little companion.
I’m an active, playful boy who loves mornings, zoomies in the yard, toys, and daily walks.
I’ve just started leash training and am adapting well to traffic and city life. I enjoy my daily walks outside of the home so I will need a home where daily walks and adventures will continue
Car rides aren’t my favourite yet, I get too excited when the car stops but I’m getting better every time so I need a family that will continue to take me out in the car so that I can continue to become more comfortable.
Because I thrive on companionship, I must go to a home with another small well-adjusted, friendly dog to keep me company and help me grow in confidence, and play all of those silly doggy games, no exceptions.
When the play is over, my snuggly side shines. I’m a true cuddle bear who loves curling up with my human — on the couch, in bed, or anywhere close by and be your shadow. I’ll follow you around the house, lick you with affection, and keep you company always. If you don’t like cuddles, I’m probably not the dog for you!
I would love a secure yard for zoomies and of course a family who will allow me inside at all times as I love the couch and your bed
At home, I’m about 90% toilet trained and making great progress. I respond well to my name, am food motivated (training is fun for me!)
I will need a home where my new family is home more often than not.
I’m quiet, don’t bark much, and I have absolutely no aggression.
Because of my past, I can be a little timid or jumpy if approached suddenly from above or from loud/sudden noises, but once I trust you, I’ll give you my whole heart.
If you can offer Justin the safe and loving forever home he deserves, he’ll repay you with loyalty, joy, and endless snuggles.
If you would like to meet Justin, send us some detail on yourself and the home you are able to provide including your location, contact number, your dog and any other pets (if any), family members, lifestyle, exercise and mental stimulation you will provide, how often Justin would be alone, where he will have access in the home, where Justin would go if you went away and could not take him with you, and ability to cover vet expenses..
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Due to Justin's past he is currently on some anxiety medication, which he is being weaned off. We will provide his new owner with the medications together with a plan to continue weaning him off
Justin had eye ulcers when he first came into care, these have been treated, and vet has suggested to use eye lubricating drops to keep his eyes healthy
