About Ruby
Meet Ruby, a sweet 2.5-year-old dog bursting with potential and ready to find her special place in someone's home. Although Ruby can be a little shy at first, don't be fooled; once she becomes confident in her surroundings, she blossoms into a wonderful and sweet companion who is bound to warm your heart.
Ruby has a gentle spirit and is known to get on well with other small to medium-sized dogs, making her a wonderful addition if you already have canine companions. She seems comfortable around cats, too, which adds to her adaptability in different home settings. Her ability to coexist happily with other animals highlights her potential to be a perfect companion in a multi-pet household.
While Ruby is still working on her lead training, she shows great promise and is eager to learn. With patience and persistence, Ruby will become an excellent walking partner. In the meantime, providing her with opportunities to play with her favorite toys or enjoy some treats can be a wonderful way to bond with her.
Once Ruby is attached to her new family, this sensitive girl may express her desire for attention with soft cries—her way of gently reminding you that she’s nearby. Her loving nature means she cherishes those quiet moments of companionship and will thrive in a home where she can feel secure and loved.
If you're looking for a loyal and endearing companion who will fill your home with joy and warmth, consider welcoming Ruby into your life. With your patience and love, Ruby is sure to become an irreplaceable member of your family
Medical notes
Ruby had a dental at time of desexing, she also had a small umbilical hernia repaired.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
