About Snowie
š¾ Meet Snowie - A True Blue Kelpie Lass š¾
Say g'day to Snowie, a 6-month-old blonde Kelpie with a heart as golden as her coat. This little ripper is as bright as a button, full of beans, and ready to find her forever mob.
Snowie's grown up in a residential setting, so she's no stranger to the hustle and bustle of suburbia - she'll happily trot beside you on the footpath, chill out in the backyard, and curl up at your feet after a day of fun. But don't let her city roots fool ya - she's got the spirit of the bush in her veins and would suit a a home on the range where she can stretch her legs, chase the breeze, and live the Kelpie dream. Picture her lounging on the verandah, tongue lolling, after a hard day's zoomies in the paddock - bowl of cold water by her side, watching the sun dip behind the gum trees. Fair dinkum bliss.
Snowie's Looking For:
An active, inclusive home that'll keep her mind ticking and legs moving - she's no couch potato!
A family with kids aged 10+ who understand that dogs need space and respect.
A home with another doggo mate would be bonza - she loves a good play and a bit of company.
Whether you're in the 'burbs or out bush, if you've got the time, love, and energy to give, Snowie's ready to be your best mate.
She's clever as a whip, loyal as they come, and just waiting for the right family to take her under their wing. If you're after a dog who'll stick by you through thick and thin - whether you're heading to the dam, the dog park, or just hanging out at home - Snowie's your girl.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
