About Arbies
Meet Arbie - The Queen of Confidence
Arbie is a strikingly beautiful female cat with a sleek black coat sprinkled with flecks of salt and pepper - like stardust on midnight fur. She's not just a pretty face; Arbie is the embodiment of independence, strength, and unapologetic girl power.
This feline doesn't wait around for pampering or fuss. If she wants something, she'll roll up her fur sleeves and make it happen. She's resourceful, self-assured, and knows exactly who she is. Arbie isn't here to be anyone's shadow - she's here to shine.
But don't be fooled by her tough exterior. With the right people - her chosen tribe - Arbie reveals a softer, more affectionate side. She becomes a quiet smoocher, seeking out gentle moments of connection. She's not needy, but she knows how to appreciate love when it's offered with respect and space.
Arbie is best suited to a calm, adult-only home where she can be the one and only feline queen. She's not interested in clingy humans or chaotic households. If you're looking for a cat who constantly needs attention and reassurance - keep walking. Arbie is for those who admire strength, independence, and the beauty of a cat who knows her worth.
Ideal Home:
Adults only - no kids
Only-cat household
Respectful humans who understand boundaries
No clingers or needy types - Arbie's not your emotional support animal, she's your equal
If you're ready to share your life with a cat who's bold, beautiful, and brilliantly herself - Arbie might just be your perfect match.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
