About Zena
Hi I'm Zena. I was broken out of the pound after a lengthy stay and transported hundreds of km's to sunny Queensland.
I have been with my foster family for over a month now settling in as I am struggling a little with trust issues.
I don't like some men and tall people. They scare me and I bark at them a lot to let my people know I'm not ok. Loud noises and sudden movements scare me too until I can trust it's not happening to hurt me.
I have come a long way in foster care but I am likely to need a lot of TLC by my furever people until I can relax and settle in properly.
So now all the good stuff about me
I am fully house trained
I am approx 18 months old and out of my puppy stage
A have no interest in exploring the world so a 5ft or higher fence will keep me safe
I love other dogs
I am great with kids that are dog savvy
I also love my cat friend, I liked her the best as soon as I arrived
My vet work is all complete and up to date
I can zoom with the best of them and I equally like to lounge around too
I am a good med sized dog at 23kgs
I will let you know if someone is outside but I do not nuisance bark
I am very gentle. I take food only when offered
I love pats, I melt with a good scratch behind the ears
I prefer to be inside and I'm very clean
My favourite sleeping spot will be wherever you want me to sleep
I am keen to meet my new family. Please consider a meet n greet with me
