Piper💖7yo, Shih Tzu girl (On Trial 14/9/25)

🌹Piper is an adorable, 7-year-old Shih Tzu who is as easy-going as can be! She's a delightful companion who gets along well with other dogs, so she’d be an excellent addition to a multi-pet household.

🏆 Piper’s foster carer describes her as the easiest foster dog she’s ever had!

Piper loves people and forms a strong connection with her humans. Her favourite place to be is on your lap.

Piper is fabulous with children so she'd make a great family dog. She doesn't jump up on people. She is not a nuisance barker and will only bark if there is a reason and she’ll stop when you call her.

Piper is fully housetrained and uses a dog door. She sleeps soundly through the night and is considerate enough to get up when you do.

Piper enjoys a daily walk and is happy to meet dog friends. She’d be great to take to a dog park or to a café. She walks beautifully on lead, matching her pace to yours, pausing occasionally to investigate interesting scents. When she's off-leash, she takes her time, exploring the world with her nose.

However, don’t let her placid nature fool you. She has bursts of playfulness, and likes tug-of-war and chasing a tennis ball when she’s in the mood.

She is fine being left home alone, and would be ok for of a full-time worker, especially if she has another canine companion.

✂ Piper has a soft coat that doesn’t shed — ideal for people with allergies. She just needs brushing every few days, bathing every few weeks and professional clipping every 4 to 8 weeks. She is small, weighing only 7.2kgs, a perfect size for cuddles and lap time!

🐶 Piper is an affectionate and easy companion. She is looking for a family who’ll take her for a daily walk, play with her, and most of all, snuggle with her. She’ll fill your home with happiness and love.

⭐️ Piper is in foster care in Eleebana, NSW (Lake Macquarie). She is available for adoption to NSW and ACT. Her adoption fee is only $500 and she is healthy, desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and lifetime registered.
