About Tyson
Great news i've gone to a new home on trial. . . . Keep fingers crossed for me. Hi my name is tyson & i'm 2 years old. My owner didn't want to surrender me but because the body corporate would not let him keep me he was going to be evicted. Below are the notes from the pound. Hand in sheet says he is good with dogs, cats and kids of all ages. He is good on lead and good off leash. He has good recall. He once got out through a broken wooden fence. He slept indoors and is toilet trained. He loves playing fetch. He does not enjoy being alone. In the cage - he jumped on the gate and the handler. In the stand and ignore - he was at the end of the lead
in the withdrawal of affection - he was at the end of the lead but he would always look over his shoulder to check on handler. With handling - he was happy to be handled. Health – could lose a few kilo's
in the guide and place – he allowed the sit but he resisted the drop. With stranger danger – he sniffed the floor and was unfazed. In the kid test – he backed up a little and was unsure. In the dog to dog – with aslan he was good, he playbowed and was appropriate. With the small dog he sniffed and wasn't particularly interested. With the food bowl guarding – he had no interest
with correction on the chain he was very responsive. He walks well on lead. Training – he knows sit. He was responsive and keen to learn. Motivated by – treats and pats i would say. Tyson is a handsome boy and i think sometimes when his settled and less stimulated he will switch off and be a calmer boy. Tyson would make a great family dog and i think he would settle out of the pound. He can be a little stressed with the going on of the pound. Lovely boy
