About Ziggy
Ziggy is the dog who makes a house feel like home 🏡. He is an absolute sweetheart and is ready to be your best friend 💕. This handsome boy is all about life’s simple joys: car rides 🚙 to his next adventure, daily walks 🐾 with plenty of sniff-stops, and curling up on the couch 🛋️ with his humans.
Ziggy has come an incredible way since being rescued from an uncertain future by a wonderful family. He still carries some physical scars from his past, but his spirit is shining brighter every day ☀️. A whole community rallied around him — from a GoFundMe for his desexing and dental work, to training support and volunteers helping him learn that the world can actually be a pretty amazing place.
Now, he’s ready for the next chapter❣️. Ziggy’s ideal home will provide a safe loving home; daily enriching walks (doesn’t have to be super long), and calm nights hanging out together. He loves to feel included – car rides; a café visit; watching TV next to you.
Ziggy is house trained ✔️, sleeps happily in his crate at night and loves his food. He loves his foster sister and visiting 4 legged friends 🐕. He enjoys meeting friendly dogs when out and about on walks.
AINB will provide ongoing support and training if required to help Ziggy settle in and continue building his confidence.
If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, affectionate dog who wants nothing more than to be your best mate — Ziggy is ready to meet you 💙.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
