Hi there, future best human!

My name’s David, and I’m a sweet little guy looking for my forever home. I’ve been in the shelter since I was a baby, and I’m really hoping for a calm, loving home to call my own.

You might notice something a bit different about me — my tail is shaved! It looks a little funny right now, but it will grow back soon. I had to have it shaved while recovering from ringworm, but don’t worry, it’s all completely healed now.

Because of some vet visits and lots of new people touching me, I’ve gotten a bit overwhelmed with handling lately. I’m learning to enjoy touch again, but I’ll do best in a quiet, calm household with no children under 6, because I can be a little shy and may need space when things are new. I would really love a safe room all my own to settle in before exploring the rest of the house.

Once I feel comfortable, I’m full of charm! I have a chatty, happy purr that starts as soon as you’re near. I love following people around and even climbing your legs while you brush your teeth. Playtime is one of my favourite things, especially chasing little balls and fluffy toys.

I’m looking for a patient, loving human who will give me time and space to feel safe. If that’s you, I can’t wait to meet you!
