About Kira
Meet Kira
Kira is a very sweet and gentle girl who is ready to find her forever family. She can be a little timid at first, but once she feels safe, her affectionate and friendly nature shines through. With time, patience, and confidence building, Kira will blossom into a loyal and loving companion.
Kira could be well suited to a home with another calm and steady dog who can help her feel more secure. She may also be able to live with cats, provided introductions are managed carefully. Pet-savvy children who understand how to give her space and encouragement would also make wonderful companions as she continues to grow in confidence.
As a cattle dog, Kira is part of a working breed that thrives when her mind and body are kept active. It's important that her new family understands the needs of working breeds and the role of genetic fulfilment in her daily life. This means providing her with not only regular exercise, but also mental stimulation such as training, problem-solving games, enrichment activities, and opportunities to use her natural instincts in positive ways. When these needs are met, cattle dogs like Kira flourish and become deeply bonded, happy, and well-balanced companions.
Kira is searching for a home that can give her the structure, patience, and opportunities she needs to succeed. In return, she promises a lifetime of love, loyalty, and joy.
