Meet Kiddo, a gentle and loving Labrador X Border Collie mix whose heart is as big as her sweet, soulful eyes. At 7 years old and weighing in at approximately 24 kg, Kiddo is a well-mannered companion who brings tranquility and joy to every home she enters. Her nurturing spirit makes her the perfect addition for families with children or other dogs, where she can share her affection and gentle playfulness.
Living in Palm Beach , Kiddo enjoys her easygoing lifestyle. She walks beautifully on a leash, making daily strolls a delightful experience for anyone fortunate enough to walk alongside her. Her soft, affectionate nature is the stuff dreams are made of; she doesn't bark unnecessarily, making her a serene presence both indoors and during car rides. Whether you're heading out for a scenic drive or hosting a family gathering, Kiddo is always eager to join and adapt to the activity at hand.
Fully vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and wormed, Kiddo is ready to step into the next chapter of her life with a new family who will cherish her gentle spirit. Just be sure to have a normal secure fence in your backyard so she can enjoy some outdoor time safely. Though Kiddo isn't suited for a home with cats, her friendly nature blossoms in the company of other dogs and children, making her a great fit for lively households.
Her adoption fee of $495 is a small price to pay for the companionship of such a beloved dog. Kiddo's soft fur alone could calm and soothe even the most stressful days.
So, if you're looking for a calm, easy-to-have presence in your home, look no further than Kiddo. She has a heart filled with love to share, and her affectionate nature will surely bring warmth and sweetness to your days.
From her carer
“…. she sleeps alot and dreams and kicks all the time. But when I take her for walks, she is always full of energy. I walk her twice a day and around 10km-12km without issue. ( but is happy to not walk and just snooze)
She is inquisitive and for some dogs ignores, others, she gets excited, but doesn't show any bad temperament.
She woke me up with her paw today to go to the toilet, so yes to house trained.
If I leave her outside and she can see me, she sulks, but rarely barks.
Some cats she ignores, others she stares at. Doesn't seem to care.
If food is left laying around, she will find and eat it. Likes to play with shoes, socks, whatever is around but doesn't damage them.
Just in general a perfect dog. She will very very rarely pee/poo on walks and seems shy about that.“”

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
