Pleased to meet you! My name is Dougie and I'm ready to be the best decision you've ever made!

When I first arrived at the shelter, I was just a tiny, trembling pup. I had been surrendered along with many other dogs - all of us in pretty rough shape. I was malnourished, scared, and so very alone. Everything felt big and loud, and I didn't understand what was happening. My little body was weak, and my heart felt even smaller.

But then... the gentle hands came. The soft voices. The warm blankets. And for the first time, I felt safe.

And now? I'm a confident and gentle pup looking for his forever home. One that can give me endless love, lots of toys to play with and of course lots of yummy treats.

Like all good dogs I have some special quirks galore! My FAVOURITE toys on earth are Santa toys. There's just something about them that I can't resist, and I'll even trot around with 2 of them in my mouth- I'm just that obsessed. I'm also surprisingly chill for a puppy! While my friends are bouncing off the walls, I'm usually the one lounging in a sunbeam or politely asking for cuddles - I've got a gentle little soul in a wiggly puppy body. I've the epitome of a sooky boy, as my cries can be heard all around the living room if I'm not getting enough attention (or I'm feeling a little extra musical).

I'm wonderful with kids of all ages and love making doggy friends. I'm a gentle, go-with-the-flow kind of guy who just wants to be part of the family fun. However I'm not the best roommate for cats - I can't help but want to chase them, so a feline free home would be best for me!
