Banksy is a sweet and gentle soul who has a big heart, absolutely adores people and has a lot of love to give.

We believe he was surrendered by his previous owners to the Ballarat Animal Shelter as that's where we found him. Fortunately we happened to have a superstar volunteer foster carer available in the area and we were able to get Banksy out of the shelter and into a nice comfortable foster home.

We were told he was quite timid when he was in the shelter but the second he stepped out of the carrier and into his new foster home he was all purrs and cuddles.

You can tell that he had been around people previously as he has been the perfect little gentleman since he arrived and is loving his fosters mums company. He loves a pat and a scratch, is happy to be picked up and cuddled and is always in the mood for attention.

Banksy has a very chilled, relaxed and low maintenance personality. Not much fazes him and he's generally happy to kick back and do his own thing but have a pat and a cuddle when you're around. He has slotted into his foster home easily and has even become quick friends with the resident cats.

He has a sweet and gentle nature so he would be a great fit for almost any household. Whether you're a young professional wanting some company, a young family or a retiree, Banksy would make a welcome addition to your household.

Banksy is approximately 3 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
