This gorgeous little lady is sweet, affectionate, loving and just adores people. She has a very gentle personality with a big heart and a lot of love to give.

We found Lucy in a cage in the Ballarat Animal Shelter. Staff there had reached out to us to see if were available to take her on, as she wasn't having the best time, and as luck would have one of our amazing foster carers was available and willing to take her into their home and shower her with love until her new forever family could be found.

We think she has most likely been someones pet previously as she is a very loving little lady but we'll never know for sure.

Lucy has settled into her foster family nicely and is quickly becoming just another member of the family.

She enjoys a pat and a scratch, likes a cuddle, will rub up against you when you get home to say hello and just generally enjoys being around people. She is also getting along well with the resident pets.

We can see Lucy doing really well in a nice quiet home where she can kick back, relax and be waited on hand and foot by her people :) A retiree who's looking for an affectionate companion would be perfect.

Lucy is approximately 7 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
